Mandate
The working group "Business and Human Rights" works under the mandate of the Government Council.
Governance
The working group "Business and Human Rights" works under the supervision of the Inter-ministerial Committee on Human Rights.
It is chaired by the Ambassador-at-Large for Human Rights.
Composition
The working group (WG) is characterised by its open format as well as its multi-stakeholder and multidisciplinary composition. Stakeholders involved in the work of the group come from the public sector (ministries and administrations), civil society, national human rights institutions, trade unions, the private sector and academia.
