Embassies, consulates general and permanent representations are key players in foreign policy. Based in their host countries, they have in-depth knowledge of the local environment and provide assistance to the nationals of the State they represent. They also play a key role in managing bilateral relations and in promoting Luxembourg, its culture, institutions and economy.
