The Directorate Protocol and Chancellery is responsible for managing the Luxembourg consular corps abroad, the foreign consular corps in Luxembourg, as well as the Luxembourg Foreign Trade Advisers abroad.

Luxembourg Consular Corps abroad

The Luxembourg consular corps abroad currently comprises a network of more than 160 Honorary Consuls, including Honorary Consuls General. This network also includes six consuls general as well as the consular sections of Luxembourg’s embassies.

Foreign Consular Corps in Luxembourg

The foreign consular corps in Luxembourg currently comprises a network of more than 50 Honorary Consuls, including Honorary Consuls General. This network also includes consuls general as well as five career consuls accredited to Luxembourg and resident in Brussels.
